ACCESS Launches MiniMicroLoans in Black Creek

On Tuesday, June 14th, at 6:00pm, Mario Sergio, MPP York West, will be at the launch event for the Black Creek MiniMicroLoan Program. The goal of this new program is to improve the standard of living of people in the Black Creek and Jane and Finch area by providing them with microloans and supports to obtain training, certification or tools of the trade or to launch a small business.

MPP Mario Sergio and Brent Chamberlain, an Ontario Trillium Foundation volunteer will attend the launch and present ACCESS Community Capital Fund with a plaque to mark receiving a grant from the Foundation in Spring 2016.

Also in attendance, Anthony Peruzza, Councilor for York West, will say a few remarks to the attendees.
Mona ElSayeh, Executive Director of ACCESS and Barry Reider, of the Black Creek Community Collaborative, will be talking about this new program and its expected impact in the community.
